I’m assuming the AIR3 won’t include AIR3S
Not yet but they will be working on it
The latest version of Drone Hacks has extended support for:
Confirmed that the FCC mod works on the Mavic 3T, even when running the latest DJI firmware on it
Here’s the signal before the DH mod, running just below the -90
line
And here’s the signal after using DH to enable FCC, the line is now way above the -90
marker
Sorted.
how does one change other settings (like leds on / off, atti mode etc on the mini 3 pro or mavic 3 etc as they seem to use the v2 app
At this moment only the FCC mode can be changed with commands in the fly app but more should be coming
Drone Hacks released an update today (01-11)
which fixes a bug in the Flight Controller.
If you’re a v2
Drone Hacks app user, they recommend removing any applied mods from your drone, waiting for the drone to reboot, then re-apply the mods.
This does not apply to drones which use Drone Hacks v1.
this post probably needs a bump if you have old drone tweaks licences
IMPORTANT NEWS
Affected Model: DJI AIR 3
Action Required: Avoid connecting your drone to the internet and updating FlySafe.
We urge all DJI AIR 3 users to refrain from connecting their drones to the internet. If connected, the drone will automatically download and install a “firewall” update in the background. This update prevents any possibility of modifying or hacking the drone, even if it is running a compatible firmware version.
Please note:
The update occurs automatically and cannot be disabled.
It affects both the installation and uninstallation of any hacks.
DJI FLY continuously checks for this update and installs it without user intervention.
This “update” appears to have been implemented as of January 7, 2025.
Other models do not seem to be affected as they don’t have “firewall” feature built-in!
Hi Wayne @SparkyFPV
what about the ‘S’ version of AIR3…AIR3S ?
No mods for that…yet
Yep, but in readiness, do we have to heed this notice for the Air3.
Don’t want to lock the bird out before the hacks are even here
You know the rules, but we wont know anything till the OG’s reverse engineer it
Oh great, mind you i can’t remember last time i turned it on, Mini 4 pro seems to be used more ATM,
I have Drone Hacks on my AIR3 since it was compatible. Dont know if the Firewall was installed.
Is it possible to remove the hack and go to stock Firmware with Firewall installed?
No. If you’ve been online since the 7th. The “firewall” is on it and you cannot remove the hacks at the moment.
Oh, nice. Thanks DJI. What happens if I try the refresh the Firmware via Dji Software?
Please under no circumstances should you try to update the Air 3 firmware with the hacks instilled if you have been online after January the 7th in DJI assistant as you will definitely brick your drone and the only recovery from that is a return to DJI
