Dronehacks connection with Ubuntu

Has Anyone used the Dronehacks Desktop with Ubuntu?

The only way I can get the Mini 2 to connect is to

sudo usermod -a -G dialout username

Then reboot and then I get a connection until I close the program and then it will not connect again till I perform the above

I use Ubuntu for my server, but haven’t tried anything on there with Drone Hacks, as I use my Win 10 PC for that.

I have had a similar issue though. Often I cannot RDP into my server from W10. So I use Putty to run the following command to log out the current user (me), allowing RDP to connect:

gnome-session-quit --no-prompt

This way does not require a reboot.
