The CAA made noises that there would be no change, but hey now we must see what will happen. It will be ridiculous to go backwards from EASA once they are implemented in July.
Continue EASA but without any EASA input.
Maybe we should start a little whispering campaign.
About how restrictive European rules for drones were and now that we are free of the yoke of our continental oppressors British skies should be totally free for British drone pilots to fly in any direction and at any height ā¦
Letās hope this does not become another one !.
Thatās not the best idea imagine how many of those fake news stories about drones could then be deemed to be true?
Not at all. If we can get the anti Europeans behind us it will become every true Britons duty to fly as far and as high as possible!
and as close as they want to whatever they want.
Has anyone officially heard anything from the CAA on this?
Sorry, none of us has a hotline to them.
I have 2 balls, neither of which is crystal
Iāve now actually been given a number which goes directly to the drones/UAV team
The CAA brexit microsite hasnāt officially mentioned anything.
Ah okay
Latest tweet from the CAA is saying the EASA is still going ahead: https://info.caa.co.uk/brexit/drones/
Iām going to use this at some point in a meeting - depend on that
Thatās a saying we used in the army all the time.
EASA should stand for:
Every Aerial Shot Allowed
Even Arseholes Sense Anarchy
Hey guys, given we are leaving EASA, what are the potential implications for the drone industry?
@dronegirl93 We have moved your post to an existing thread on this subject.
