Hello to all
My name is Iain and i got your club from a you tuber funnily enough another ian just spelt differently and he is from london according to his you tube channel lol lol I am looking to start a new hobby in the new year so that i can attend car shows and get some good drone footage so i will be looking for advice all the time from the experienced among you having never ever owned or flown a drone but seen a few videos of how to do it so with confidence i am sure i can achieve this I an thinking of the DJI NEO as a great starter drone at an incredible price because if i get bored its not an awful lot of money to waste lol lol Any way enough waffle from me look forward to chatting with a few of you maybe meeting up but most of all plenty hints tips tricks and advice and one final thing i live in Edinburgh so there might be people local to me who can help me out so for now thanks for letting me join and happy flying in the new year for 2025.

Welcome to the group. A good idea is to also get to know the laws on drones and flying near or over people. You mention car shows… just make sure you can do what you want to. However a great hobby anyway. Hope you enjoy it here.
