Those comments are not consistent…
It is DJI there are going to force me to spend more money.
(To fund the wonderful R&D of new products)
The Goggles 3 are only compatible with the FPV controller 3.
Well if DJI don’t know, I feel better that i have no clue 
I took the FPV Controller 3, Manual mode and the Neo out for a run today.
It’s still definitely not the same as a quad with Betaflight. It flies quite strangely with some odd twitches when it is not happy.
It’s a bit like it’s still got the training wheels on and doesn’t want you to do crazy things.

Any recommendations for a good FPV sim ? (ideally Apple mac, but otherwise no worries)
No idea about Apple Mac, but I like
Velocidrone and Uncrashed.
Lift Off is good but I don’t like it because of the interminably slow loading of maps, which may be better on Mac?

I’m still only scratching surface of FPV and it’s been spend, spend, spend, since I dipped my little toe in the water.
Half of me is kinda praying I can’t fly or I hate it

Well had the first few goes on the sim today
Tried uncrashed and tbf I’m now calling it constantly crashed
It’s a bucket load harder than I thought

Yes. I do not fly FPV, but just with the basic controlling of my Mini 3 Pro, i struggled with certain actions like a figure 8, and when the contolls are reversed for left and right when it faces me. Then all of a sudden something clicked ut ut was natural, and I just got it.
Keep practising, and I’m sure it will just hit you (not literally… hopefully lol).
