I when to the Isle of Wight a few months ago , I was so lucky with weather good flying conditions
Flew from island to mainland over the Solent 2.5 mile round trip, still had 40% battery . also filmed the Needles
check out video.

Superb combination of music and images. You certainly had perfect flying conditions. Not sure I’d be so brave as to do all that flying over water but the results were spectacular. :+1:

There’s no way I’d be brave enough to fly across an ocean… I worry enough just flying over the local canal :rofl:

The one and only time I ever went to IoW in my life was back in June this year - never seen so much fog in all my life!! Couldn’t see the needles at all :frowning:

Anyway, I take my hat off to your bravery sir - great video :+1:

you just don’t get the great shots if you don’t take some risks. just got fed up flying over wheat fields ,
