Thanks for the soldering tips guys. Got to a wait a few days till my practice board comes and will have a really good practice. Have been watching and reading up on soldering. The +/- on the ESc has gaps not pads. Weird, bit will work it out I’m sure.
Have sanded and washed the frame. Put it together losely put on the motors (and props, nice to see approx what will look like)
Question on what me looking out for on beta flight? I did connect the FC and worked and appeared. Gyro seemed really slow to react is this normal? Will try and video that later… Hmm
Anyways this is where me up to for today!
Which screen / tab? Can you post a video? (@Committee we REALLY need video uploads back as its quick)
Just a suggestion, buy some loctite blue for the motor screws. They can vibrate loose
If you all use iOS we can sort that
Once they bring in basic features like “Always on display” and ability to use Betafliught config from iOS… Maybe
Though me teenager daughters iPhone is AOD, it’s just always on, normally snapchat, or instagram…
That’s all good. This is why sims are bad. There is a latency.
Hah won’t be any latency with the analogue, was watching a video on my VTX earlier, and they got it to at least 3k! Assume had a better receiver than I’ve got, but that’s good to know. Camera hasn’t shipped yet, no way am I soldering yet. So not a lot I can do. With regards the stack do I use Nylon screws? I will dry layout everything more than once with photos. I dunno how to put the camera bit together at the front, I think I know which was front is hah! Seems like a lot of space which is nice!
Will improve once the stack is fixed into the frame
Not unless you want to replace them after every crash lol

You should have a manual for frame construction. That piece at the back looks to me like its there to support you VTX pigtail where your VTX antenna should screw in. Difficult to say without either a manual or the pieces in my hand but maybe the brass wings off the pigtail gets sandwiched between the top plate and the extra plate?
Also note that there are so many different parts and configurations you could use building a quad that you may not need every part supplied with the frame. You may also need to get extra parts to help you fit the components you have chosen (not saying you do need extras with your components just that sometimes you need extra or modified bits to get something to fit)
3D printed parts usually
mainly mounts antenna mounts FPV camera mounts action camera mounts so on and so forth lol

Best not to have the pigtail metal touching the carbon frame. Make sure its insulated
So crealty 3 pro or artillery genius (with direct drive extruder…). Yeah do need some mounts etc.
Yeah all fun and games trying to work it out and watching videos. Seen a few people build it and none use that part!

Will worry about that after pay day lol. The genius seems to come with the extruder and very close price. Will make another thread when time right heh
Every day like Christmas at the moment … The correct ELRS module arrived, some antenna (although idiot me got the wrong connector, though will fit me goggles), some solder wick and flux and the soldering practice board. Wooohoo. Oh yeah and the super buzzer and the wrong screws damn!
