First flight of the year then Crash!

Option D
It’s a perfect excuse to get a new one and after a crash it makes you feel a tad depressed when its wrote off so imagine that happy feeling when you get a upgraded new new

Thank you yes I do feel a tad shit :grimacing:
However booked it to send to DJI to see what they say regarding repair etc, so moving forward if I do eventually go for option D at least hopefully I’ll have a good working order drone to sell or whatever rather than parts if that makes sense :+1:

Bugger, I thought I was getting the spare motors for much cheapness :sob:

Kidding asside, I hope it’s not too expensive to get repaired mate, it’s gut wrenching when it happens. Been there 3 times now and it doesn’t get better.

I know mate, if it was a total write off I actually think maybe id feel a bit better, but because there’s not a blemish on it other than I’ve posted in pics above I find it way more frustrating, more so because I’ve seen one of these get torn down taken apart & it’s not for the faint hearted “ or for me that’s for sure “ otherwise it’s job that could easily be done, but the plastics on these the way they clip, hook go together etc guaranteed all sorts of things will go wrong & break so out of my league sadly, but hey I’m dropping it off at DPD collection in about an hour, out of sight out of mind hey :+1:

The Dji repair or replace thingy then sell it as unused and put the pennies toward a new drone

Thank you it will be along those lines, id have to declare it’s a repair refurb or whatever happens, if memory serves me right, end of 2023 when a motor bearing went on another drone, same model & was sorted out under warranty they put the remainder of my old warranty on the drone they gave me( replacement ) if that makes sense, this one isn’t a replacement I bought this one whilst the other was being sorted then sold that when it came back,
It’s out the house now ie on route so I’ll see what the outcome is, either way I’ll have another drone maybe the same for a while & or upgrade just have to see how it all pans out I guess, bit of a bugger as well being January with all the bills from Christmas etc but one way or another I’ll get flying again …. I’ll by a kite tomorrow :kite::smile:

Didn’t go anywhere else to rob from the rich

I’ve had worser days what a great price :open_mouth::smiley:

Edit :
@SparkyFPV Wayne estimated £140 I said nah more like £275 I reckon ( this was yesterday ) so £59 that’s with a 50% discount so would have been £138 originally, you were bang on Wayne

All done back fixed, replacement, refurb “ brand new secondhand I call it “ anyhow’s chuffed to bits, DJI seem to have pulled things together since my first DJI experience over 3 years ago when I was very dissatisfied, really really pleased & best £59 I’ve ever spent just can’t fault it & thanks for all your inputs peep’s :bowing_man:t2:
