First question from a newbie

I know this has probably been asked before but …Private drones are limited to a height of 120m. Where is that measured from? I want to fly at the top of Moel Famau which is 555m. If the rules are from sea level then I wouldn’t be able to fly from the top but it would be allowed if it’s measured from where you take off.

It’s not from sea level or point of take off but above ground level where the quad is.

Thanks again.

There’s also the “PingSpike vs Hill n Sheep” diagram too. Which oddly enough hasn’t yet made it’s way in to any legislative documents
