Flight Simulators which do you use?

The short answer, I think, is no.

The longer answer is, even if they were, I can’t see how they could create a control system based on things floating in free space that mimics the sticks. Especially the sprung one.

As covered above, most sims require a controller connected to the PC. The best option is an actual RC controller. The next best option is a game controller (X-Box style). A very few of the sims will allow you to use keyboard control, but it’s almost impossible to replicate the fine proportional control required for FPV with on/off switches.

Finally, none of them (that I know of) are VR compatible, so you’d have to use your Rift basically in desktop display mode. I have a Rift S (and most of the sims) and I suppose I might give this a go, but having used my actual goggles once on a sim, I much prefer using the PC screen.

If you’re free at the beginning of June, come along to The Big Meet. It’s not too far from you, and I am sure there will be plenty of people willing to give you a taste of FPV.
