Can’t you take off from the pier. .?

I’m not sure if the pier is open that time of night, most likely closed as it is dark but I’m really not sure

Unfortunately not

Piers can by awkward places. Old ones have so much cast/wrought iron, new ones reinforced concrete. Great for a magnetic interference check. :wink:
With the older ones, moving a few feet can often resolve.

OK then… for safety reasons I would not film the fireworks since you haven’t had night flying training

You don’t need night flying training to fly at night. The training is only needed to fly PfCO at night. #ItsACrazyWorld
