So used my flytron Cree for the first time tonight, lifted off, mini 2 drifted straight into a bush…… my fault for trying to fly in a very tight space, but wasn’t expecting it to drift on its own and wasn’t prepared, so partly my fault, but anyone know if the weight of the Cree on one if the arms would make the little guy drift?
I’ve only ever used them in pairs on the rear legs using @ash2020 clips. No problems.
The weight will have no effect - the IMU will compensate.
I’ve had FAR heavier weights on my MP (a bottle of beer probably the heaviest) … it automatically adjusts the speed of each prop to maintain stable flight.

We’re they 3D printed ones or does he sell them?

I have been looking for strobes to attach on my Mini 3 (green & red and possibly also white to the belly), but am not sure which are suitable.

Have you got strobes on yours? If so, could you post a link to the version where you bought them and if possible, explain where on the drone you attached them to?
I use the same and they fit fine
With the 3M Dual Lock fasteners you can fit them anywhere but you can’t leave them on the arms when folded

Just noticed they have dual colour strobe Cree, just ordered 2 White-Red to try out…
I might get a couple of these.
Can’t decide whether it’s best to have one red and one green for port and starboard, and/or a white one on the belly or back.
Any thoughts?
I’ve used them on my Mini 3 Pro and still use the clips made for the Mini 2 by @ash2020 on the rear legs. It’s been fine.
Obviously takes the Mini 3 Pro over the 250g weight.
White ones are much more visible than red or green. If you need them for orientation purposes then fair enough, but I now don’t bother with the red and green (included them with my Mini 2 when I sold it) and just use the white ones.
