FPV Bodge for practically any drone

Ooooh. Nice. You’ll get used to the screen size. But see if you can find reviews on it. I don’t know what they are like.

My problem is astigmatism, so neither this or your solution will solve that unless you can twist the lenses somehow.

Just looked it up. It is possible to wear glasses in these.
Where are you based roughly? It may be worth trying different goggles on. If I come your way (after lockdown), I can meet you. Unless I don’t go your way lol.

Oh no problem then

I’m in Bournemouth

I’m looking to get something soon to play indoors or out in the garden at least. I have read a few reveiws on Banggood and they seem to fair well for comfort and quality etc.

Not there till late in the year lol

You can always sell it on. You probably will when you want something bigger anyway. Try to get it from the UK. China deliveries are still stalled a bit.

Yeah I’ll check availability and price, If I go for the EV800D goggles then I need a drone and controller to go with them.

Yeah. Tricky! Unless you get the tinyhawk bundle and the goggles accept glasses. I’m not sure on that. And if you need dvr, a separate recorder like this… (you could spend hours looking lol)

Well I have found the Emax Tinyhawk UK stock for £134 on eBay, which is only £6 more than the Banggood price, it is £183 on Amazon. So I am going to order that for now and see how I get on before spending too much money, I also found UK stock batteries at the same price as Banggood so I’ll get two as that is how they sell them, also on eBay. So I should get that lot just in time for my 65th birthday on the 16th next week…

I can’t find Eachine DVR watch here in UK so will order it from Banggood, I checked out lots of the reviews and it seems to be quite an amazing bit of kit for rhe money.

The watch is good. I’ve seen it up close. I may get one this year.

Thinking of putting one of those AIO cameras on the RC car for some FPV action.

Wonder what the range would be like on the ground…

I did it on a nitro. It wobbled well bad in the feed! Might be better on concrete though (I was on grass). I didn’t go far cos I turned too hard and it flipped and wouldn’t start again. Yes. Might try again this weekend…

That was my worry.

Might order a small 2 axis gimbal and try that.
