Fpv! How using a spotter since new Rules arrived

Hi guys, with the advent of our new drone rules, who is using a spotter whilst flying FPV.

I like to have a spotter purely for the reason when I have to ditch the quad they can tell me where I crashed it

*Edit: for the benefit of @notveryprettyboy

Guys, my A2 cofc in now in the bin :sob:

Oh well, I’ll reflect back on what a win the poll tax was, seem to remember that as a winner too.

Is that a dig at me :rofl::rofl::rofl:

If you fly on and over private land, not accessible by the general public, I think that this can be considered a sterile flying environment and a dedicated spotter is not required. This is how we intend to operate at my model flying club after the 29th. This is assuming we’re not all trampled in the rush to get to the flight box.

No @ziceman not a dig at you. It was a bit of a joke between me and my quad retrievers @notveryprettyboy and @Steviegeek lol

Awww mate. That’s terrible :disappointed:

I hope you find a spotter.

Pity you live far from me. I have loads of permissions and acres and acres of private farm land to fly on. You would have been most welcome to join me.
