Hi , Iām Ferdz and I own a Mavic 2 Pro. Hope to meet local members in my area.
Thanks!
Hi Ferdz / @ferdzmanalo , and welcome to GADC.
An ever increasing number of our members also own the M2P ā¦ so you are amongst good company.
If you havenāt already, take a look at the Map of Members and youāll see there are a few other members in your neck of the woods, some of whom Iām sure will come and say Hi.
(Donāt forget to add yourself to that map : How to add yourself to the Members Map )
The forumās search functions are a very efficient way to find previous threads and posts that might already have covered topics in which you are interested in learning more or answer that niggling question but, when this doesnāt turn up what youāre after, thereās a wealth of knowledge amongst the members, so ask away over on #questions-and-answers.
Also, if youāve not seen it, check out our map of places where members have flown in the past ā¦ which, obviously, doesnāt necessarily mean they are still OK to fly and, as always, any pilot needs to check that everythingās OK before flying at any of them.
Please also take a moment to look at the Membership Levels section on our FAQ .
Welcome aboard!
HI Ferdz welcome to our little corner, where the insane meet the crazy and discuss sensible things.
hmmmm, sensible. Damn, guess I better behave then.
Waves at @ferdzmanalo to get back on topic Iām down the road (ish) from you IN Bridgend South Wales.
Hi Ferdz, welcome to the madhouse.
Iām just down the road in apperley so easy to meet up sometime.
Iāve only just got my M2P as well ( still waiting on smart controler)( itās got to be smarter than me lol) been busy sourcing places to fly from around here and reading the minefield of info on this site, masses of helpfull and friendly loons here
Welcome Ferdz
And a Big welcome @ferdzmanalo from what some would call āOne Of The Looniesā (Certified)
any suggestion on where to safely fly our drones within gloucester? have you tried using it in parks even with yellow warning?
Hello and welcome from sunny South Wales.
Hi Ferdz.
Bit congested in the city parks, ( even with a yellow sign?)
Worth checking out Robinswood hill, plenty of open space up there, or down by the canal.
I was about to go to robinswood hill because there is no warning there but when I checked the website of the park it says no drones allowed. Iāll try the cannal next time. thanks
Hi and welcome to a great forum
Welcome to the pleasure drooooooone (iām back)

Has anyone tried to bring their drone to CANADA?
