@markfull you are invited to submit a drone pic of your choice for this round.
You are welcome to post DNG and/or JPG, AEB and a series of 180/wide panos. Please, no 360’s
Maximum file size is 100Mb for direct upload, the site can also accept zip and rar files if you want/need to compress.
The Rules
Entry is open for all forum members/associates.
All entries must be in jpeg or webp format.
Your entry must be a still picture.
Once again, all editing is allowed so feel free to get as creative as you like.
Create and post as many edits you like, but please tell us which one is your entry by clearly marking it “My Entry” on the top line of your post, EVEN IF YOU MAKE ONLY ONE ENTRY. Failure to do so may result in your edit not being included in the poll.
Entries can be submitted until midnight on 29th June.
After entries are closed, a poll shall be opened for all forum members to vote on up to three of their favourite edits. The winner will then get the honour of supplying a picture of their choice, captured by drone, for the next round. The winner will also be invited to share, in as little or as many words as they wish, how they arrived at their winning edit to share their knowledge.

@D0c.Col no laughing mate, did something different with the picture. Couldn’t see any really enhansable aspect of the main pic so i took a an image shown on the wall at the back, upscaled it and messed about. To me it looks better than the original😁

Poll for this round Now Open @group-challenges
Please do not vote for your own entry, doing so will result in disqualification.
You can vote for up to 3 of your favourite edits.
Voting is open to all members and associates, entrants or not.
Poll will close on Thursday 4th July at 11:45pm.
In the event of a tie for first place, another poll will be opened to decide the winner.
The winner will be invited to post one of their drone pics to get the next round going.
And lastly, we would also like the winner to give an explanation of how they arrived at their final edit. This can be as brief or as complicated as you like and is not mandatory.

Thanks for the votes lads, REALLY didn’t think there’d be a chance of winning just threw it in for a laugh tbh.
With any pic I’ll try to enhance it (mostly in the style of my choice that suites me, mostly HDR’d to death, but I don’t really give a toss as long as I’m into it ) If I’m not into the pic I try an do a job on a cropped part, you’ll always find something. That’s what I done with this image, but tbh I thought I’d gone too far with this puppy
What I did.
Cropped the part of what I wanted
Upscaled it x 2
Swapped the sky because it looked meh
Cloned part of the sunset onto the artists board
Give the sand some texture
Sharpened or softened different areas depending.
Did the normal colour stuff.
Ripped an image off Google of an artist in the same pose as the original.
Removed the background of that image, then sharpened and touched up.
Brought in that new image as a new layer on top and placed it so looked like the original.
Probably did some stuff in between all that also, knowing me
I actually like the final image, didn’t think it’d work but nothing ventured nothing gained as the saying goes.
Thanks again:+1:
