Help with the new (to me) machine, please Racing Quads, Self-builds & FPV

Having decided to bow out of the Birthday Challenge, I spent some time on the quads yesterday. Firstly, I have a proper replacement motor for the Croc (7 days from order to delivery from Banggood, CN) fitted. It seems to be OK, but I’m getting some odd behaviour on the bench: [Croc Baby runaway motors?] This is in Acro mode. I’ve managed a brief hover test indoors ( ) but the runaway doesn’t seem to happen until you hit around 50% throttle, so I guess I won’t properly k…
