Maxstoke Castle is a privately owned moated castle dating from the 14th century, situated to the north of Maxstoke in Warwickshire, England.
It was built by Sir William de Clinton, 1st Earl of Huntingdon, in 1345 to a rectangular plan, with octagonal towers at each angle, a gatehouse on the east, and a residential range on the west, the whole surrounded by a broad moat. @Challenges_Committee thanks, I’ve just realised I’ve claimed an extra bonus point for my Abandoned Building post. I didn’t link the Wikipedia page I had it mind as it was for Gloucester Docks in general rather than the specific abandoned building. So it’s 3 points rather than 4. My apologies

I’m surprised the pano came out as it was blowing a gale up there with strong wind warnings at 10ft above the ground.
