what we printing this time?
A pencil holder ![]()
Whatâs your most useful or favourite print so far mate?
Cool! Iâm trying to resetup octiprint. Camera not working atm, weird. Just the raspberrypi cam!
Whatâs the close up cam you got mounted on the printhead?
anyone tried printing a plane?
@yith printed a plane I think⌠worked better than a dolphin!
They changed some thing in the new version, how many cams you got?
Its an endoscope ![]()
something like this
Damn you⌠PurchasedâŚ
Only one webcam, itâs working now ![]()
You will need to print a mount and then set it up
I use this plugin to run 2 cams
Iâve got an almost identical watch charging stand, but mine wasnât printed for free ![]()
Great stands though ![]()
And mate, we seriously need to talk about watch faces - especially as youâre running Home Assistant. Iâm not seeing a single HA value being displayed on your watchâŚ
#wtf #fail #disowned ![]()
Thats a winter rainy day project, but if you want to head over to the home assistant thread and let me know how you have set up yours ![]()
Yeah obviously a different printer. Will work it out haha
Thought I would have a go at the same pen holder, did it in white PLA, great design print time was 1h 38m on my Bambu Labs X1C
Er⌠it took offâŚ
Show off ![]()
So want a bambu ![]()
I originally started with an Ender 3 S1 Pro but no matter what I did I could never get it to give a perfect first layer, I was about to throw in the towel when i happened across the Bambu Labs P1P, bought it and realised this was the future, sold that 2 weeks later and bought the X1C with AMS, whereas the Ender worked 50% of the time, the X1C works 98%, and the 2% is always user error.
Yes expensive but more fun to use than attempting bed levelling 3 to 4 times before each print, and not having to pray that it will work
Yeah I love the look of em, but no way can justify for the amount of printing I do.
I hear a lot of tinkering with printers, but Iâve just been really lucky with mine. In the 2 odd years Iâd had my Artillery Genius, Iâve replaced a ribbon cable once, never changed the nozzle or hot end, and once got a level right it stays for quite a long time. Standard nozzle, bed, nearly default settings in cura, and itâs been totally solid. Was around ÂŁ200 (maybe even cheap on a deal when I got it). Mainly print PETG, or TPU. rarely PLA bizarrely, though have this week for a friend and forgot how fast you can print PLA compared to TPU!
50% of the time? Iâd have thrown in the towel too!
PffftâŚ
Will print one in the 3 days itâll take, no worries
PETG though, donât want my tea spoiling it. Nasty colour plastic though! Waste it on these!
