Geoff, from Surrey, 200 metres from the edge of the Fairoaks Zone!
Been videoing steam trains on the main line and other stuff for years. Bought an expensive (£1.5k) semi pro Sony camera that broke, non repairable, after 25 months, so hummed and haa’d for a few months and bought a drone
DJI mini 2 se +flymore kit
Registered the drone with the CAA, and got the flyer ID
Now learning to fly and video properly so I can get back to filming steam trains from a new perspective. Sound is important for the steam train experience so bought a zoom recorder I can set up trackside and dub in editing.
