I treated myself to a DJI Mini 2 a few months ago.
Initially I justified this because I wanted to check the condition of some of our roofing, but have always wanted a fun little flying machine.
Living in Farnborough itself means I have to head away from home to avoid all the right restrictions.
I’ve taken a couple of flights, but really need to get into more of a routine. I’m still slowly building up trust and confidence in myself as a pilot and the drone itself.
I’ve been browsing this site on and off as well as using a Drone Scene for some inspiration.
Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too

I have never been denied (but Coventry airport is probably quieter than yours).
