Hi, I’m Richard, I’m based in Neath, and I’ve just joined the site having started flying a DJI Mini 4K. I’ve an interest in photography, and am completely new to flying drones, and as I was taught to be cautious I’m taking things quite slowly. I got my operator and flyer IDs, then took out some insurance so that should my inexperience result in a very close inspection of a tree, then the pain can be shared. I’ve had a few experimental flights, and am gradually venturing a little further from base each time. Found some nice open space to test the RTH, and watched my drone seemingly disappear into space before returning safely. It’s a great bit of kit, now I just need to get to know it better.
