Hey Folks. 
Long time flying enthusiast here, been a bit dormant for a few years (I have a self-built franken-fpv racer, and recently got a DJI Mini 2 SE)
I’m based in SW20 - which doesn’t have massive flying opportunities on my doorstep, but there’s plenty not-too-far away.
Will probably end up lurking mostly, but great to find an active community here.

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too 
We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the Questions & Answers category.

SW20 is very close to myself. (CR4) I walk to Wimbledon Common often and have flown at the common (of course taking off on a public footpath).
Mitcham Common is good. Morden Park ok. Richmond park over rated (IMHO). There is a few places in drone scene.
We have a meet up near-ish on the 6th August
