And here are my 2 entries, both BC shots, but cropped and sharpened a bit.

Bradstowe House, a block of flats in central Harrow at sunset:

And Chapel Lane Bridge, Pinner, which carries the Metropolitan and Chiltern Lines, at night, with a Met Line train visible.

And thanks again for the Birthday Competition,

Question for the judges, before I transgress again: do the two pictures have to have been taken as part of one day’s submission to the Birthday Challenge, or could one submit two pictures from different days/of different categories?

Any day within the time that the Challenge is open. Some people only take one picture at a time

I was really chuffed with my dusk shot of Loch Lomond… not least because I survived the midges that were out for their supper. :fly::fly::fly::fly::fly::fly::fly::fly::fly::fly:

And my second is the Soph-Ash on her way to Fort William

Thanks!

Nice to see it was sunny where you were, not so lucky here :frowning:

Sorry to say your picture isn’t eligible to be entered in this challenge as you aren’t a participant in the parent Birthday Challenge but we have a new season of the RTF (Reason To Fly) Challenge starting on Sunday. Follow this link and you can vote for which subject you want as the season’s opener

Here’s my twopenneth:

No. 2 From old Ferry terminal Fleetwood, looking up Wyre Estuary towards Morecambe Bay & Lakes in Background, showing Pharaohs light, Lifeboat station, Knot End ferry & a couple of sailing boats heading up-river. Anyone remember what sunshine looked like? Hard to believe just a few days ago.
