Hi there everyone…I have tried to locate member’s locations on the site map, but I couldn’t see any members displayed on the map at all !. I have added my location, by the way…but having done that, I still couldn’t see any members on there. Is this because I only have the Bronze membership, by any chance? I did try to join up with the Silver Membership last night, but for some weird reason this website wouldn’t accept my credit cards ! No matter, though…no doubt I’ll get round this problem and maybe then I’ll be able to see other members and contact them, with the aim of meeting up and going for flying sessions together. Thanks for reading…and please let me know of this membership business, regarding being able to see the other members on the map. Bye for now…Mike M.
I didn’t think you had to be Silver/Bronze to be able to see the members map … but just checked and that seems to be the current situation.

@mikedrone Seems there’s an issue with the map. You should be able to see member locations, as a Bronze member … but some accounts can’t.
We’re currently investigating and will let you know when fixed.

Can we edit our location on the Dronescene map though? Closest I can get to my actual location is at least 3/4 mile away ?

that’s not slacking! that’s legendary status right there! I’ve never known any app or software development fix bugs or react to user queries anywhere near as efficiently as GADC do. This is one phenomenal community and is ran to absolute perfection.

I personally wouldn’t want to advertise my exact address, remember this is public forum and any scrote could then use the members map, to find where drones are kept and steal them by force or breaking entry.
Chances are drone pilots also have other expensive, easy re-saleable gadgets too.
