He bit me once on an indoor test flight. (Did not did not did NOT fly it into myself…
just failed to evade in a timely manner :p) — it’s tough to steer AND run away…

Airdata asks you for the name of your drone. So presumably commercial users name their drones Matrice 600.1, Matrice 600.2 or Inspire 2.1 so they can keep track of flights, performance and maintenance.
My Mavic Air was bought second hand and showed up as Tyson on my first flight log, my Inspire I have named Sparky. I haven’t got round to naming either of my DJI 550s or the Tarot X6.

My Tarot 680 is called Bane. Because it was the bane of my life during the build and setup till I got it right.
My Phantom 3 was called Dave, the MP Daveson (son of Dave), shortened to Dave.

I was once doing some filming at Santa Pod and saw a dragster called ‘Grounds for Divorce’

So went for “Jethro Q. Walrustitty” instead…

Hi @PingSpike. Mine were both blatantly ripped off from a Monty Python sketch called “Election Night Special”. They were the names of 2 Silly Party Candidates (would fit right in with the current bunch in the House of Commons at the moment if you ask me ).
