I saw this thread a few days back and today i saw this from a scene in Guns Akimbo, not sure on the added function but its a style at least.
Finally my new wrap arrived from USA and it’s on!

Some of the skins are awesome but ive gone for bright orange. The RAF went for black for conspicuity on low flying training aircraft. With my drone I’m more interested in being able to see it if it lands away in long grass or bushes.
A bit of advice to get your skin perfect dampen the part of the drone you’re wrapping it makes it easier to feet a perfect fit I found that the skin I got was statically loaded as soon as it got near the drone it grabbed on so the dampening stopped it, may take a while longer to set but I found it was worth it

I think my main concerns would be what weight would it add. Would a 249g drone now be over the 250g and also can it peel in flight and catch a prop.

Maybe but that will depend on what the drone weighed beforehand, remember the decals are grams in weight and you will never come across an official drone weigher with calibrated scales

According to my scales mine is 242.8g, with 2 navigation lights fitted it’s 250.7g seems a bit on the low side but the skin is really thin.
.7g is less than the difference between what your drone would weigh at the poles vs the equator (gravity varies on Earth)

Im still thinking about wrapping my Air3 to aid in spotting it.
Any recommendations on the best colour.
I found dayglow orange worked well
