While flying at Thurstaston today I noticed that after I took off and went over the edge of the cliff which has a drop of about 60 feet down to the beach the height stayed the same as recorded from take off, so is this due to the height being recorded from the take off point only

Also don’t be surprised if you see minus figures in there from time to time
