Hello all from Oxford

Hey all im new here. ive flown a few drones before but back in 2022 i had a mini 1 which i ended up selling , but today i bit the propeller and brought the Dji mini 4k from amazon. has there been many law changes come into affect since 2022 that i may have missed? i was looking for any info on any drone groups that are based in and around the Oxford area that i may be interested in.

Nothing significant, a few changes over prisons perhaps.

One thing to note since your last foray in to drones, DJI have now removed all geofence restrictions.

Make sure you’re safe and legal to fly because DJI will no longer warn or stop you.

And there was the confusion, a NFZ was a made up DJI thing, not to be confused with the official CAA FRZ.
