thanks
You can also be an insured member with public liability. Whilst you dont have to… it makes sence when you are controlling something up to 120m upwards
Whilst its once again more money. DJI do a care refresh. You get a fly away or damage they will send a replacement out free… (dont make a habit of it as they only do it twice).
Same here. Less messing. We have two controllers here sat in a draw we dont use that are just spares if we have problems with others.

yeah that makes sense.
the controllers do look nice

thank you i will read all of this when i have a little more time but thank you for the info
Alright mar mate, ow am ya?
I’m in Walsall, if you need any help just drop us a line and I’ll come and give ya a hand.
As for the extra size battery, if you stand there with a controller in your hands and concentrating on a screen for half an hour, you’ll find that’s enough. If you’ve got 3 standard batteries, you’ve got an hour and a half plus down time to have a rest (your neck will thank you) which is a long time to be staring at a screen. If you want a try with a drone before you buy one, let me know and you can have a try with mine (everybody else has) which are a bit/lot bigger than a Mini 3. Let me know and we’ll sort it.
John
awww thank you. yeah i just order the mini 3 so it might be a bit late to try before I buy lol i just got the 2 extra batteries as well.
im all good thanks. first things first i guess getting an ID and then learning how to fly
this is defo not a typo, the one im looking at is a mini aircraft with 4 lock on missiles
@par2d2 clent is your best bet for wide open areas and great views. One or two of the hills are now national trust now though. And as you dont drive it will be harder to get up there but well worth the visit. Get a bus to halesowen then the bus up to Romsley and then onto clent.
Hi @par2d2 and welcome to the GADC community. I am also in walsall so not to far away.

Also if you aee interested keep an eye out for any meets that happen locally and might be worth joining the @group-westmidlands as well as this tends to get tagged in the meets as well
I did exactly that 8 weeks ago’ish! Dji Fly combo and a mini4 - no looking back now, just forwards and up for a very long distance
@par2d2 did you manage to get out with the mini 3 this weekend?
