Hi, I am new to drone flying having just purchased one. I would like to join a local club so I can fly safely and can gain knowledge from other flyers. I live around the Hinckley area so any members nearby who know of a local meet it would be great to hear from them.

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too 
We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.

Welcome to the club, I’m in Bedworth I fly a mix of Camera drones and self built FPV racing/freestyle drones. As above Me @notveryprettyboy, @Steviegeek and @crapflyer are all local and meet up regularly to fly we have a mix of places that we like to fly. Keep your eye out in the Meet up category we normally throw a post up
