I’ve been flying an assortment of RC aircraft for a number of years and have owned some older, less capable multirotor craft.
During an unfortunate lone outing to Birmingham at the weekend, I stumbled across the DJI store on New Street. Then I stumbled out, had a coffee and stumbled back in again.
Despite an argument with my credit card company (annoying, but it got me £70 in compensation), I accidentally bought a DJI Flip Fly More Combo.
Now the search starts for interesting, safe and legal places to fly. There’s always my model flying club, but I need more variety. So this seems like a good place to settle and benefit from the experiences of my fellow members.

Welcome to a money burning hobby but at the same time. A great hobby, it is fun, there are a fun bunch of people sharing the hobby and you went for the best option of joining a group where they all hang out. Welcome aboard,
P.S. I WILL be going to the DJI store soon. I mean it is a short drive away. I used to go to Brum City centre every weekend when I was a kid on the train or bus. It is within my reach to get there. Will do it one day. You will know by the thread… Today I treated myself to this…

I very nearly had a similar accident this morning but thankfully I managed to keep my credit card intact.
I got an email earlier with some Valentine’s Day sales. I’m gonna talk to the wife and tell her the bad news.
