Hi all - I’m very new to this drone lark, having been given a Holy Stone 175D for Christmas.

Yes, I know it’s a cheap 'n cheerful drone, but I’m having fun learning to fly it. I wanted something affordable to start with to see if I liked the hobby and then maybe buy something more expensive down the line.

Looking forward to photographing the ancient sites and the scenery we’re blessed with in Derbyshire.

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too :+1:t2:

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.

Ah I’m a Sutton lad originally myself. Moved to London in 1981 for Uni then back up to this area in 2022.
