Hey folks, just getting into building a drone. Gave up my last hobby and decided to try something new, quite like technical stuff and figuring stuff out… Naturally led me to drones as I’ve read it’s build, crash, repair or something along those lines? :joy::joy:.
Anyway, attempting a 5 inch racing drone… We’ll see how this goes. :+1: :+1:

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too :+1:t2:

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.

You’ll need an antenna for the VTX, the VTX will come with a little antenna but you’ll want a circular polarised antenna for better range. You’ll also need to match the polarisation to the antenna on your goggles either RHCP or LHCP.

The TBS pro32 nano has a UFL connection on it so you can either get an antenna with a UFL connector on it or the most common way would be to get a UFL to SMA pigtail and get an SMA Antenna. :+1:t2:

Perfect, I was thinking about the antenna and the polarisation thing but didn’t know too much about it. I’ll set up a build thread, save loading this introduction one.
