Hello from Eastleigh, Hampshire

Hi, new to GADC from Eastleigh near Southampton! I’ve been rediscovering the world of drones over the last 6 months or so through sub-250g FPV quads.

I had a Phantom 2 for years but rarely flew it as it was over 1kg and became so difficult to find anywhere near me to fly. I now have a 2.5" cinewhoop and a Mobula 8. Being so close to Southampton airport, about 90% of my practice has been indoor proximity flying, definitely useful practice, but I’m looking forward to stretching the throttle a bit this summer.

Keen to find flying spots in the area, I’m aware the New Forest isn’t really doable. I visited Cheesefoot Head recently - posted some flight footage here:

Hi @lbrou I’ve edited your post to include the OneBox preview.

To do this just paste the YouTube link into a new line on its own with no spaces etc.

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before.
