Hello from Eye, Suffolk

Have just rejoined GADC having had a Mavic Mini (actually borrowed from my son who wanted it back) a year or so ago & now have an Air2s. Mostly interested in photography. Plan to obtain A2 CofC. Many providers & prices so would appreciate a steer from fellow fliers as to which providers are worthwhile considering; good content & take seriously the flying self declaration. Many thanks David

I did my A2 CofC with UAVHub which was a very good course. As a member/insured member of GADC you would be entitled to a discount.which I believe is 25% :+1:

Hi - thanks for that. The discount is worth having. Pays for the first year membership of GADC. Did you have submit details of your fight experience or did you have to just tick a box to say that you had satisfied the requirements? Thanks David

At the time I did it (Nov 2020) you were able to self certify your flight experience ie tick a box. Not sure if it has changed as some RAE’s were requesting flight details - dates, duration location etc.

I did my A2CofC with UAV Hub recently - 3 weeks ago - it was well delivered… The flying requirements I just copied the data from AIRDATA free account and used that, they accepted it readily enough…
