Hello from Farnborough

Hi all, living in Farnborough, unable to fly at Farnborough due to the airport and my house being in a military zone.

Any locals or experts with advice on where to fly? I bought a DJI mini SE for the sub 250 Gram restrictions. I am also registered with CAA as well

Hi Allen,

I’m just down the road in the Guildford area and there are a few flyers round here. The massive Farnborough red zone, plus the surrounding smaller airports are certainly a pain if you’re based there. I’d say for your first flight find a quiet corner of a large quiet playing field or green space somewhere outside the red zone. Basing Common looks like a good possibility which isn’t too far from you? Otherwise there are some places around the Guildford/Godamling area that I’ve flown quite regularly. Let me know if you need any more suggestions.
