I am not from UK but visit every year first week in October - have been visiting for the last 20 years! I grew up in the commonwealth country of Grenada and when I am in the UK I am generally in the Southampton area and Godalming. I had hoped to bring my drone during this last visit this year but I wasn’t sure about having enough time to fly since I was on a whirlwind trip this year. I hope it is ok for me to be a member of this club and participate - I have been trying to find something like this locally and have to say nothing has compared to what I see here so far. I look forward to learning more from you all and hopefully getting some flight time in next year when I visit.
Welcome on behalf of the GADC. You are most welcome to participate in all aspects of this, the friendliest club, wherever you reside. We all have a common bond, the enjoyment of flying, photography and learning about our drones’ capabilities. I’m sure someone in the Southampton or the leafy Suberbs of Godalming will say ‘hi’.
Welcome Bonny, hope you have a good visit.
I live about 5 miles from Godalming and when you back over again give me a call. Hopefully, I will have some reasonable flying skills by then!
Hello and welcome.
Hello and welcome to this Madhouse
Hope you can contribute even when you back across the pond and if you need any help questions answering don’t be afraid to ask
Thanks for the warm welcomes!
Hi and welcome @SpininB
A very big welcome Bonny, you, as others have said are most welcome to our shindig this side of the water!.
Give us a shout in advance ,next time you are over, and we will try to arrange possibly our first “Trans-Atlantic” meet, around your next visit.
I am sure the guys around the Southampton area will make you feel most welcome, and you may even squeeze some “ falling down water” out of one or two of them in celebration of your visit.
Fly Safe, and when you are in the mind for some laughs, chatter, advice, please do not be afraid to chirp in !.
Safe travels from all at GADC
