HI All, just got my 1st drone, and have around 3 hours flying experience to date!. Have always followed photography and have a silly amount of hard drive space taken up with photos from the last 20 years (and more from scanning old ones in). So I now decide to add video to the total!. I have in the past sailed on Thames Barges, so I know when and where all the thames barge sailing matches will occur and plan on capturing the races as best as I can. I have no editing software and after reading some info on this site have downloaded DaVinci Resolve and will be taking You Tube lessons soon.

I used to live in Burnham on Crouch. I assume Burnham is a RFZ due to Southend airport. Which is a shame as that would be excellent for drone flying and photo opportunities.

Burnham (plus west of Burnham) and believe it or not Pagglesham is not covered by the RFZ - there is a temporary hold on 22 for 27 hours. I should imagine they are detonating old munitions as normal. I sail on Thames Barges and have seen them fire these off - not for the faint of heart!
