I am Andrew, based in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, but originally from Teesside.
I have a keen interest in aviation, but have given up on the idea of ever being able to afford learning to fly myself, so when gifted a DJI Phantom 2, I have (my wife would say as usual), thrown myself in at the deep end. I am already contemplating how to get myself a sub 250g drone as a second option.
I live in a rural area and I am looking forward to finding some great places to fly.
Flying a drone is great fun but sometimes you feel the need to have a purpose for doing so and the Challenges category provides some great reasons for you to fly.
There are regular challenges which are open to all, that attract members of all abilities. Support, advice and constructive criticism is freely available; still photography, video and the techniques for editing both are involved in the challenges. We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before.
