Introductions

I’m a complete ‘newbie’ from Claudy, Northern Ireland ( or as it’s frequently called - ‘Cloudy’ ). My only experience of RC flying was in the 70’s with a kit 6ft wingspan Slingsby glider which took far longer to build than it’s actual flight life lasted! Now, as a ‘retiree’ I’ve recently got a Mini 2 SE and am amazed at how easily controllable it is, after memories of trying to launch a quite heavy lumbering balsa glider into a strong enough headwind to sustain lift, never mind trying to fly and land the thing. - :wink: You young-uns don’t know you’re born! :grin: Looking forward to hopefully becoming a more accomplished drone pilot than I was as a short-lived glider pilot ! :rofl:
