I have been in the UK for a decade now, before that I was in Australia. Always been interested in Aviation. Was in Air Force Cadets, both Grand Fathers were RAF or RAAF. I even once got to fly a Learjet while being targeted by an ANZAC class frigate as they calibrated their weapons. They weren’t armed of course, they don’t let civilians in the aircraft when they are doing actual target practice. Also, worked in emergency services and they obviously had an air capability there.
Now that I am settling in the UK, I can finally start to get into some hobbies I have wanted to for a long time. Drones is one of them. I got my Flier ID and reviewed all the regulation last year. After a recent trip back to Australia, my dad showed me his DJI Mini 4 pro. After a few flights I was hooked. I purchased a DJI Flip and have been getting familiar with all its features and capabilities.
My main intent is to see what it can do photographically. I want to take photos of my local area (and puppy dog) to share freely. I am not interested in anything commercial.

I live in Letchworth. So plenty of nice rolling hills and old historical buildings. The usual things done thousands of times over.
Though, Letchworth is a bit unique as its a planned town, so I have been trying to figure out how to best capture some of the interesting road layouts.
