Hi All, my name is Graham I live in Collier Row Romford.
I am recovering from 6 major operations on my hip in the past 12 months. On crutches now bored beyond belief so needed something to do.
I know get a drone and take some video and photos in Havering park that is 50 steps from my front door.
Not got a drone yet but looking at DJI mini 2 from eBay or digging deep for mini 3 pro.
I used to do RC cars, boats planes and had a go at helicopter. loved them all.

Hi welcome, I also have a RC background and still have cars and helicopters which I really should use more. I think a mini 2 might be the most flexible option for you. There is little imho to justify the cost of the mini 3 over the mini 2. But you know what you want to use it for and that will be the deciding factor. But sub 250g does make sense for ease of use and where you can fly them. The days of a few test flights in the local fields with a 700 heli are long gone.
I still have an ergo 30 (running with a os50sxh) and two robbe futura se’s with 70 and 90 engines. I bought a couple of futura se’s for next to nothing including a couple of boxes of spare parts
