Hello from Southern Oxfordshire

Hello from Oxfordshire,

New to drones but spent years flying my trex 600 nitro pod and boom - too old for barrel rolls now and never got the hang of tick tocks, but takeoff/landing ratio still 1:1

Flying mini 3 pro now, just logging the hours to take my a2cofc and searching for no yellow circle article drops on the map so I can fly!

@DeanoG60 , sure

Current one is blue (attached) and will turn yellow I guess on Saturday, but forever getting yellow ones with a notam of article drop from surface to xxxk feet totally surrounding the area…always on weekend dohh !

On a side note had constant yellow on holiday in Broadford on isle
Of Skye as aerodrome was there, so didn’t fly as CAA says not within xxx of a runway cone (CAA didn’t seem to say unless it is a warning zone) - must admit kind of unsure about those CAA says no no no to frz and runway zones irrespective of warning but altitude angel says yellow just a warning - so didn’t fly to be on safe side.

Anyway image attached which will turn yellow this weekend for a day and they ofc the wind will pick up and spirit my mini3 pro to the land of Oz :sweat_smile:

Maybe have a look at

I think it’s easier to read and understand as you can turn off all the irrelevant layers and leave it with just the information that you need as a drone pilot. it also has most of the Air Traffic Control phone numbers for air port FRZ’s so you can call and book in a flight if you need to :+1:t2:

Looks like its in relation to a Battel of Britain event :+1:t2:

Plenty of user submitted flying locations near by though that are outside the NOTAMs :+1:t2:
