Hello. I’ve been a member for a few years and lurked for a little longer. I found this place just after picking up a DJI Mini 2 in 2022.
In June this year, when I wasn’t looking for a new drone, a YouTube video praising a DJI sale made me think an older Mini 3 with a large discount might be justifiable seeing as I had a quote of £160 to fix a gimble issue with my Mini 2.
Obviously, they’d sold out by the time I got there and the next thing I knew I was sitting by the letterbox waiting for a Lito X1 with a MASSIVE knot / sick feeling in my stomach.
Anyway.. I’m currently on holiday in Cornwall with a new drone, a little time to read some posts here and the chance to have a few flights.
I like the idea of joining in the RTF challenges so will probably head there next for a look.

Flying a drone is great fun but sometimes you feel the need to have a purpose for doing so and the Challenges category provides some great reasons for you to fly.
There are regular challenges which are open to all, that attract members of all abilities. Support, advice and constructive criticism is freely available; still photography, video and the techniques for editing both are involved in the challenges. We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before.
