Hello from Thorpe Willoughby

Hello, I’m fairly new to drone flying I’ve had my DJI mini se for a couple of years but not had a lot of time to get out and about with it.

If anyone has any good drone flying areas near Thorpe that I can preferably walk to as I enjoy just nipping out for an hour to fly

Welcome @Grand_Joker

I’m not far from you. Just the other side of Selby.

Join @group-yorkshumber and keep an eye out for meet ups, there are quite a few of us in the area that often meet up

As for walking distance from you, since the mushroom farm got developed I often go to the railway bridge on the old road between you Hambleton chasing trains.

Keep an eye on the Sherburn FRZ it’s pretty close to you :frowning:

Below it on the map

Field Lane was the ‘main road’ before the bypass , not sure how long you been in TW so might might not know it

Ah I see yeah I didn’t know that used to be the main road but it looks like a good spot, I only recently moved to TW this year so don’t really know the area that well.
