Hello all, Im Alfie based in Lincolnshire. Im a K9 handler and have used drones on and off since 2017 but never to a serious standard. I started with the DJI phantom 3 prior to all the changes in the regs. I was using it on ports along side border force to track illegal migrants gaining access to the top of curtain sided trailer.
Anyway i now have had a dji Mini 4 pro for about a year and use it to survey sites I work on, for my own use not for payment, it is actually become a very useful tool. I an nearing the end of the study part on my A2 cofc and looking at getting a larger drone, considering the Air 3s or Mavic 4 pro. If my small business can take the hit I would like the Mavic 3 thermal but for that money I would really need to make it pay.
Well I wont bore too much, glad to be here, seems a lot less toxic than the facebook groups
