Hi, my name is Norm, I’m t based in the UK, and I’ve been flying since 2016. What started off as just a bit of fun has grown into a real passion of mine. I used to run under the name “Aerial Videos R US Ltd”, but these days, I fly for the love of it.
Drones i have ATM - Neo / Avata 1 & 2 / Mavic 2 Pro / Mini 3 Pro / DJI FPV. Used to have The Phantoms & Insprie 1 & 2, but they have all gone now.. In 2018, I was lucky enough to be featured on BBC News and BBC Horizon, when the Gatwick thing happend.
Over the years, I’ve filmed all sorts, like everyone else! from tractors and combines working the land, to historic churches, war relics, and coastal sunsets. One moment I’ll never forget was using my drone (with a built-in speaker) to help find a missing dog. Hearing the owner’s voice calling out from above and then actually finding the dog was something really special.
My little YouTube Channel is now called Sky Tractor, where I post my drone videos when i can.
I’m really looking forward to meeting more like, minded people who enjoy flying, filming, or even just chatting about drones and tech. It’s always better when you’ve got others to share it with.
Flying a drone is great fun but sometimes you feel the need to have a purpose for doing so and the Challenges category provides some great reasons for you to fly.
There are regular challenges which are open to all, that attract members of all abilities. Support, advice and constructive criticism is freely available; still photography, video and the techniques for editing both are involved in the challenges. Suggestions, for subjects or for complete challenges, are always welcome - take a look in the Challenges category for more information.
