Hi All,
I have decided to loop back to an old hobby although the world is now a changed place from when I bought my Phantom 3 back in the day
I did quite a lot of mods back then , New Gimbal , Updated Transmitter etc but didnt really use it tahat much.
Then came the new lightweight models and I just left mine all boxed in its huge flight case lol
You probably guessed that after all this time all 5 batteries are goosed lol.
I have been reading recently about hacking the BMS which led me here.
I have had a bit of success but I will keep at it
Need to take my licence soon so that I can fly again,

Support, advice and constructive criticism is freely available; still photography, video and the techniques for editing both are involved in the challenges. Suggestions, for subjects or for complete challenges, are always welcome - take a look in the Challenges category for more information.

And finally, if you are new to drones and wondering what it’s all about, have a look at Resources for a beginner.
I have flown some of the smaller models over the past few years but I have to say I prefer my old big lump of a phantom 3 lol
The smaller ones dont seem to handle out lovely UK weather as well as my old one
Hi Jack T here - I am new to the drone hobby. I have bought a radiomaster pocket controller and I have been practising FPV in the “Liftoff” simulator on my computer. I am interested in building and flying FPV drones, but I live in Southport. The airspace around Southport seems to be heavily restricted so I am looking for tips and advice on how to get started without breaking any laws.
