Hi @dudesuper - welcome to GADC
Hello @dudesuper welcome to the club
Welcome aboard. I’m new too and everyone has been friendly
Hi Everyone, just jumping in on this thread because I didn’t want to create a new one when one exists.
I just joined the Club earlier today because I think the Drone Scene looks awesome! A great guide to helping newbies like me where to fly. It all seems to be locked down everywhere.
Over the Bank Holiday I thought I’d give it a go and try out some photos to create a 3D model. Looked on an app when I was in location only to find that it had a Temp FRZ - so I decided not to fly.
Looking fwd to using Drone Scene to locate places in advance of flying. Finding it fustrating that National Trust areas appears to have a blanket ban on flying and also places like Ferry Meadows too.
So any tips on places nearby to practice waypoint flights for 3D models would be great.
Looking fwd to learning.

Flying a drone is great fun but sometimes you feel the need to have a purpose for doing so and the Challenges category provides some great reasons for you to fly.
There are regular challenges which are open to all, that attract members of all abilities. Support, advice and constructive criticism is freely available; still photography, video and the techniques for editing both are involved in the challenges. Suggestions, for subjects or for complete challenges, are always welcome - take a look in the Challenges category for more information.
